Elegant secondary and strikingly complex aromas introduce sweet, rich and supple flavors that offer good flavor authority on the moderately long finish. This is a delicious effort that is beautifully textured and even at 18 years of age, it's still drinking perfectly. In fact, this is almost gulpable in the best sense and while it's not a great wine, it is delicious, satisfying and still a lovely drink that is the epitome of weightless flavor authority. Multiple, but not necessarily consistent, notes as some bottles don't seem to have the same level of depth displayed by the very best examples. - BH
